The Town of Clifton Park is pleased to present Winterfest 2021! We have planned a day filled with fun and excitement with activities across Clifton Park.
HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
Riverview Orchards is offering, crafts, lunch, s’mores by the bonfire and horse drawn sleigh rides. Join us for Winter Nature Story Walks and explore the winter trails at three parks while reading a winter-themed children’s book. New this year is our Winter PARKaPALOOZA! Local community groups are sponsoring fun activities at numerous parks throughout Clifton Park. Join us for our annual ice fishing demonstration! Want some details? WINTER NATURE STORY WALK
Come and experience being outside in a new way—a self‐guided Nature Story Walk! Explore the winter trails at three parks and read a book at the same time! Come any time at your convenience. Walk the specially marked trail. Read the book with its separate pages displayed and posted along the trail!

9:30 am Registration Intervals begin at 10:00 am. Four age groups between lollypoppers and 13-year-olds. No restrooms available.
WINTER OUTHOUSE RACES
Presented by Shenendehowa Rotary
Shenendehowa Rotary Club announces its annual Winter Outhouse Races which will take place on Clifton Common. Registration begins at 12:30 pm and the races begin at 1:30 pm. Proceeds from the event will benefit local programs. There will be monetary prizes. Complete details, rules and entry forms can be found at

INTRODUCTION TO ICE FISHING
Ever wanted to try ice fishing? Come visit an on-ice fishing demonstration and see the equipment used by
fishermen. Emphasis on appropriate clothing and gear, safety precautions, ice fishing strategies, and hands-on participation in the ice fishing experience.
10 am - 12 pm Meet at Barney Road Pond by dock off of Valencia Lane.

Bring your own downhill equipment (or borrow one of ours) to try out on a very gradual slope on the farm. In case of no snow and permissible conditions, take a short hayride around the farm. FREE

Kids can pick one up to do at home.
11:00 am - 4:00 pm - S’mores at the Bonfire.
Roast marshmallows and melt chocolate for a treat outdoors while staying warm at the fire. ($1)

Take home a cup of chili or chowder, hot cider, donuts, or a pie. ($)
