Certificate of Residency must be signed and notarized in Clerk's Office.
You must be a current resident of Clifton Park & have lived at the same address in the Town for at least one year in order for the Town Clerk to issue.
Proof required for Certificate of Residency:
Students that have moved within the past year must obtain certificate at the County Treasurer’s Office. Phone 885-5381 Ext. 4319.

Students applying for a certificate after college classes start must apply at County Treasurer’s office.

Individuals seeking to renew their dog licenses online can now visit Dog License Renewal to do so.
After 75 plus years, the Town of Clifton Park will be increasing dog licensing fees. Effective May 1, 2022, the new fees will be:
$6 for spayed/neutered dogs
$11.50 for not spayed/not neutered dogs (no change in fee)
ANY licensing fee payment, whether for a new license or renewal, made after April 30, 2022, will be at the above-stated rates.
It is located in the Clifton Park Town Hall on the corner of Vischer Ferry Road and Clifton Park Center Road.
Couple needs to come in together and appointments are strongly encouraged. Please call 518-371-6681 ahead of time to schedule an appointment.
NYS requires dogs to be licensed at four months. Dog licenses are issued at the Town Clerk’s Office at which time proof rabies vaccination and spaying or neutering is required Fee for spayed/neutered dog is $6.00, if not $11.50. Dog License Application
Current license and proof of rabies vaccination is required. Applicants from out of town need to bring current license from municipality and proof of rabies.
