The Town of CLifton Park Town Board, the G.R.E.E.N. Committee and the Open Space, Trails & Riverfront Committee are hosting the annual Clean Sweep Day for the Town's Trails and Parks along the Mohawk River, Erie Canal and all throughout Town, on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from approximately 9 a.m. to Noon.   Choose and reserve your choice of park, river or canalfront, nature preserve, or trail section by registering online at www.cliftonpark.org, or by calling (518) 371-6651.  We can offer suggestions that meet the size and stamina of your group!  You and your group can also sign up to do spring clean-ups at alternative times more convenient for your group.  Individuals, families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church groupss, park districts, neighborhood or homeowner associations, and other volunteer groups are invited to get together and sign up for this event. The Town will provide trash bags and will collect filled bags afterward, so please let us know where you will be! This event coincides with the annual Canal and Riverfront Clean Sweep, state-wide event, by NYS Canal Corporation and Parks & Trails New York.
