The Town of Clifton Park in partnership with it’s G.R.E.E.N. Committee is presenting a free 4-Day, 30-Hour, Professional Training about Organic Lawn and Land Care, developed by the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA). The training is designed for existing landscaping businesses, landscape workers, property managers, and private/public grounds crew, and others interested in this field. Class taught by CT-NOFA. Course topics include: ecological soil health, organic fertilizers, mulching, natural pest control, site analysis, organic turfgrass management and lawn alternatives, stormwater management, marketing and more. The 30-Hour Organic Land and Lawn Course is made possible by a 2019-2020 Community Grant from the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute, with funding provided by the Environmental Protection Fund, administered by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
