View spring ephemeral wildflowers in bloom, at a town-owned natural area, the "41-Acre Property" or "Steinmetz Woods" located at approximately 588 Riverview Road (brick columns mark the driveway entrance). All walks start from the trailhead parking area located partially down the driveway. Park on the right in a small pull-off, along the driveway. The dates for this series are: 1) Thursday., April 11, at 5:30 p.m.; 2) Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m.; and, 3) Thursday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m.
Join a local naturalist at two different Town of Clifton Park natural areas for two sets of guided hikes. Visitors will see the subtle, blooming changes of spring and summer wildflowers that occur, week-to-week. This program is offered in concert with the Town of Clifton Park Open Space, Trails & Riverfront Committee. Please dress for rugged, wet, potentially muddy conditions.
