Used Book Sale and Jr. Friends Campaign

The Friends of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library will hold a Used Book Sale in the Program and Friends’ Rooms on the 2nd floor of the library the weekend of May 18, 19, and 20, 2018. The schedule is as follows.

                                                Fri., May 18:             1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

                                                Sat., May 19:            10:00 am – 4:00 pm

                                                Sun., May 20:           12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

PREVIEW SALE FOR MEMBERS OF THE FRIENDS IS

 Fri., May 18, 11:45 am – 12:45 pm

Hard covers $1.00; Children’s books, trade books, and all paperbacks $.50; single CDs and DVDs $1.00; CD sets, DVD sets, and audio books $2.00; some special books priced slightly higher.

Sunday is Bag Day!  

• A bagful of books is $1.00 and/or Buy a Friends’ canvas tote bag or children’s backpack for $10 and fill it with books for FREE!

The Junior Friends Campaign (Hunger Affects Many Shen Students) is to help Shen students avoid weekend hunger.  The Jr. Friends will be collecting shelf-stable items only at the 3-day Used Book Sale, May 18-20.  Collection boxes will be outside the Book Sale Rooms.  Please help the Jr. Friends by donating only shelf-stable, non-glass items, such as Cereal, Granola Bars, Fruit Cups, Applesauce (unsweetened preferred), Spaghetti Sauce (plastic bottle), Microwavable Dinners (Mac and Cheese, Stew) and Health Care items (shampoo, deodorant).  Or donate by check made out to Regional Food Bank of NENY.
