Join a guest naturalist for an Invasive Species Awareness Hike on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 1 p.m. This hike coincides with the Town of Clifton Park Open Space, Trails & Riverfront Committee's monthly Stewardship Hike. This hike is part of National Invasive Species Awareness Week.
Please meet up at the Whipple Bridge entrance to the Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve, off of Riverview Road across from the intersection with VanVranken Road.
The walk will last up to two (2) hours. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for weather conditions. Bring your own snowshoes and poles if warranted.
A follow-up Invasive Species Walk will be held at the same location in July 2018, as part of the New York State Invasive Species Awareness Week. Plesae check the July calendar for updates and details.
