Learn how to geo-cache with volunteer Peter Lanoie, and the Town of Clifton Park Open Space, Trails & Riverfront Committee, this Saturday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet up at the Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve's Whipple Bridge entrance, at the intersection of Riverview Road and VanVranken Road. This is a family-friendly event. All ages welcome. Easy-going pace. Easy-going, learn to geo-cache event held on gravel trails with some potential for short, off-trail exploration. Bring own water and snacks if needed. No restrooms at this preserve. Parking for cars and bicycles available.
