The goal of the Town of Clifton Park Safety Department is to establish and maintain a comprehensive employee and resident safety program:
The Public Safety Officer also monitors workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with town policies and government safety regulations. The duties of this job vary by the Town Board, but the safety officer typically has responsibilities pertaining to safety policy development, safety inspections, safety training and compliance with Federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration/ Personnel Employee Safety Health commonly known as OSHA / PESH and the Town Codes:
