COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - March 18, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health continues to work diligently to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 in the county. Yesterday, the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors authorized the allocation of$1 million to combat the spread of the virus. This allocation will be dedicated to staffing and supplies necessary to execute the county’s emergency operations plan and support the continuity of county operations.

There are 16 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County at this time. In some instances, the confirmed cases are family members living within the same residence.

“It’s important that residents practice physical distancing of greater than six feet and take measures to prevent the spread of the virus. Individuals should avoid gathering in groups of more than 10 people,” said Chairman of the Board and Town of Day Supervisor Preston Allen.

Residents can enroll in the County’s CodeRED emergency notification system to receive updates from the county’s Emergency Management Team.
