COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - April 9, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 184 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 10 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

As we enter into a holiday time that is normally celebrated with family gatherings, the Saratoga County Department of Public Health is reminding people to practice physical distancing and limit interaction with others.

“We know that everyone wants to spend this time with their loved ones but there is concern that the virus may spread from one family member to another, causing another person to be infected,” said Director of Public Health Services Cathi Duncan. “Families are encouraged to find new ways to connect instead of having large in-person gatherings. This will help stop the spread and flatten the curve.”

As testing sites have opened in both Albany and Warren County, Saratoga County Public Health is reminding residents to contact their healthcare provider if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. A Doctor’s Order is required to be tested at these sites.

Any resident who is in need of assistance to register their home or cell phone for the CodeRED Reverse 911 emergency notification system can contact the Saratoga County COVID-19 Hotline at 518-885-2276 and a representative will help them register.
