The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 167 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 11 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time. There has been another death of a Saratoga County resident who had tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to five. The 78-year-old man was a resident of Ballston Lake.
The Saratoga County Department of Public Health is reminding everyone to practice social distancing if they are running an essential errand or performing their duties as an essential worker. Research is showing that COVID-19 can be spread between individuals without any signs or symptoms of the virus. The Saratoga County Department of Health is advising the public to wear masks that cover the mouth and nose if coming within six feet of other people.
In cases where individuals are going outside for exercise or relaxation, it is advised that everyone practice solitary recreational activities and avoid gathering in groups.
