Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve

Located adjacent to the Mohawk River, this 600+-acre preserve offers hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, and bird-viewing opportunities. The towpath trail along the historic Erie Canal extends from the end of Ferry Drive to the Whipple Bridge and beyond.

*Closed one week in October during duck hunting season.
