Due to further mandates from New York State regarding workforce levels, all Town buildings are closed to public access effective immediately except by appointment.
Those wishing to make an appointment may call the Town Hall at (518) 371-6651. Their call will either be directed to the appropriate department or they may leave a message.
Individuals with mail for Town Departments may deposit it in the mail slot between the doors at the entrance to the Town Clerk’s Office. This entrance is on the Southeast section of Town Hall.
All non-essential departments will experience further staff reductions and continue to operate. Designated essential departments will maintain staff levels reduced earlier this week and continue to function while sustaining a high level of service.
The Town Transfer Station as previously announced will have limited hours which are Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The Clifton Park Senior Community Center will continue to be closed to everyone except for Town employees and volunteers affiliated with the daily lunch program. Staff will continue to report to work each day to assist with the needs of the Town’s senior population. The lunch program continues with delivery only.
The Senior Express is also observing normal hours, providing rides to grocery stores, medical appointments and other locations as necessary for eligible residents. Information on the program can be found at https://cliftonpark.org/services/senior-services/senior-transportation.html or by calling (518) 371-4444 during the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The Town continues to be thankful for the hard work and dedication of its Town employees. We also appreciate the patience of the people we serve during these challenging circumstances.
