Please consider donating blood at the summer blood drive on August 3 from 10am – 6pm in the Wood Room at Town Hall. You can register with the Town Clerk’s office or at www.redcrossblood.org
The Red Cross urges donors of all blood types to give blood now to help keep the blood supply stable during the summer. Blood donations often decline during the summer months.
There aren’t enough people donating blood to help people in need. Do you know someone who has never donated before? Please encourage them to make an appointment with you.
There will be appointments available for Power Red
The American Red Cross is experiencing a severe blood shortage as the number of trauma cases, organ transplants and elective surgeries rise – and deplete the nation’s blood inventory. The Red Cross is working around the clock to meet the extraordinary blood needs of hospitals and patients but can’t do it alone. We need your help! The Red Cross strives to keep a 5-day supply on hand at all times to meet the needs of patients every day and be prepared for emergencies that would require significant volumes of donated blood.
To schedule an appointment, go to redcrossblood.org or contact the Town Clerk’s Office.
