You must be a current resident of Clifton Park & have lived at the same address in the Town for at least one year in order for the Town Clerk to issue.
Proof required for Certificate of Residency:
Students that have moved within the past year must obtain certificate at the County Treasurer’s Office. Phone 885-5381 Ext. 4319.

The Town Clerk's Office is offering, during this COVID-19 precautionary time, to make delivery arrangements of handicap parking permit tags for individuals who have doctors request and who are home-bound. Please call the Town Clerk's Office at 518-371-6681 for more information.
Due to the logistics involved in holding the regularly scheduled Town Board Meetings during the current public health emergency, Town Board meetings will now be held two hours earlier at 5:00 PM in the Wood Room of Town Hall, the first three Mondays of each month until the ban is lifted and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Emergency Executive orders affecting the conduct of public meetings, the Town Board meeting will be closed to the public but can be viewed live and immediately upon the close of the meeting at www.cliftonpark.org. NYS requires dogs to be licensed at four months. Dog licenses are issued at the Town Clerk’s Office at which time proof rabies vaccination and spaying or neutering is required Fee for spayed/neutered dog is $3.50, if not $11.50.
Current license and proof of rabies vaccination is required. Applicants from out of town need to bring current license from municipality and proof of rabies.
